Bruxism and Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Bruxism (teeth grinding and clenching)

Injectable treatments can be very effective in reducing the effects of bruxism (i.e. teeth grinding) or clenching, giving relief from jaw and teeth pain, headaches and prevent irreversible damage to the teeth. Injectable treatments can relax the muscles that cause clenching and grinding, and some patients may also experience some facial slimming.

What are bruxism and anti-wrinkle injections?

Bruxism injectable treatments are a safe, non-invasive, fast and effective way of treating teeth grinding and clenching by temporarily relaxing the muscle. Anti-wrinkle injectable treatments are also a safe, non-invasive, fast and effective way to reduce wrinkle formation and give the skin a smoother appearance.

How do bruxism and anti-wrinkle injections work?

Injectable treatments work to relax the muscles by temporarily blocking the nerve signals to the muscle. Injectable treatments can be used to treat bruxism by temporarily weakening the muscles responsible for teeth grinding and clenching and can provide relief from jaw and muscle pain, teeth pain and headaches, as well protect the teeth from wear.

Injectable treatments can be used to treat bruxism (teeth grinding and clenching), gummy smile, down-turned smile, as well as wrinkles on the forehead, frown lines and crows feet.

Am I suitable for anti-wrinkle injections?

Injectable treatments are not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

During your consultation, our team will assess your suitability for injectable treatments by assessing your medical history, areas of concern and provide a personalised treatment plan.

How long will the treatment last?

You may start to see the effects within 3-5 days, with full effects seen at 2 weeks. Injectable treatments may last between 3-6months depending on the treatment area and varies with each individual.

How much does it cost?

The cost will depend on the treatment area. A reliable estimate can be provided when a booking is made and exact cost will be provided during the injectable treatment appointment following consultation with our team.
