At Randwick Dental Care, you will find a family-friendly dental practice that provides professional treatment in a comfortable and caring environment.
We strive to make your dental visits relaxed and efficient, and perhaps even something you look forward to. While you have many choices when it comes to dentistry, we believe it is our team that truly sets us apart.
Since our practice was established in 1935, we have always maintained a reputation for clinical excellence.
If you ask our dentists and support staff, they will tell you our greatest accomplishment are the relationships we have developed with our Randwick families.
You can read a little about us below. We look forward to chatting at your next dental appointment.

‘I find the greatest satisfaction meeting patients and caring for them over the years. Seeing kids grow up and then attend with their own kids over the generations makes us feel like family.
Clinically, I enjoy the challenges of restorative and cosmetic dentistry and the ability to change peoples lives by giving them confident, beautiful smiles.’
When Dr Darren Scott is away from the dental clinic, you will often find him travelling or spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as walking, fishing and growing grapes to produce his own wine.
Dr Alexander Zogheb, BDS
Dr Alex Zogheb grew up in Sydney, near the Georges River, before joining our practice in 1995. He is a highly valued, long-standing member of our team.
His happy nature and warm, friendly chairside manner will put the most nervous patient at ease.
University of Sydney, Bachelor of Dental Surgery
In Alex’s spare time, he enjoys cycling, kayaking, hiking, go-karting, paintballing and adventuring.
Dr Sean Dersch, BSc (USA), B.Dent (Syd)
Dr Sean Dersch originally grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada before becoming one of our valued dentists here at Randwick Dental Care. Our patients appreciate his ability to explain complex procedures in detail and his gentle chairside manner. He is a favourite among children in our practice and puts them at ease.
Bachelor of Dentistry University of Sydney
Bachelor of Science (Neuro) Brown University (USA)
‘I love that dentistry allows me to build relationships with many different people – young and old alike. I believe improving oral health has a positive impact on a person’s overall wellbeing. I take pride in helping patients feel comfortable by listening attentively and thoroughly explaining treatment options. I love giving confidence back to my patients by making healthy and beautiful smiles!’
Outside of dentistry, Dr Dersch enjoys exploring Sydney’s many cafés and restaurants, and to burn off those extra calories, you may find him running and cycling around the Eastern Beaches.
To keep his Canadian spirit strong, Dr Dersch makes the time to beat his Aussie mates at ice hockey.
Dr Brendan Scott, BMedSc, DMD
Dr Brendan Scott is a Sydney native and joined Randwick Dental Care in 2016, bringing his exceptional clinical skills and gentle chairside manner to our Randwick dental clinic.
University of Technology Sydney BMedSc
University of Sydney Doctor of Dental Medicine DMD
‘I enjoy helping nervous patients feel comfortable and relaxed in the dental clinic setting. Providing patient-centred care to restore peoples’ oral health is a vital aspect of our practice philosophy. I also believe getting to know our patients makes it possible to better understand their needs.’
Dr Brendan Scott spends a significant amount of his personal time volunteering with Sydney Wildlife, rescuing and rehabilitating injured, orphaned and sick native animals. The need to care for these animals is so high that Dr Scott often refers to it as his second full-time job.
When he can collect a few hours for himself, he enjoys being outdoors hiking, gardening, looking after chooks and beekeeping. He also makes sure his Kelpie, Nitro, gets plenty of exercise.
Our practice manager, Nicolette, grew up in Sydney and has been a valued member of Randwick Dental Care for over ten years.
We are lucky to have Nicolette to oversee the day-to-day operations of our dental practice. While she often finds herself busy with business tasks, she still makes time for chatting with our patients.
‘The staff really knows how to look out for each other. We have all worked together for years; we are like family. We genuinely care for our patients and having so many families attending our practice for many years is a really wonderful experience.’
When Nicolette unwinds after a busy week, you may find her snorkelling with her kids, hiking, coaching soccer or even relaxing with a good book.
